Hydro Electric Power Installation - National Tobacco Enterprise

National Tobacco Enterprise (Eth) S. Co. invites electrical engineering firms of grade “A” for hydro electric power installation at Billatie Tobacco Farm, which is located 290 kms to the south of Addis Ababa..

Therefore, interested bidders shall fulfill the following requirements to participate in the bid.

1. Bidders must produce original and copies of registration certificate and a license renewed for the year 1997 E.C.

2. Bidders must also produce evidences for their experience in the required work and at least two certificates of good performance.

3. The bid document can be purchased from Local Purchase Division of the Enterprise upon payment of non-refundable Birr 50 (Fifty).

4. Bids must be accompanied with a bid security equivalent to 2% of the bid amount in the form of C.P.O. or bank guarantee valid for 180 days.

5. The technical and financial proposals should be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes to the Enterprises archive not later than 2:30 P.M. on or before August 31, 2005.

6. The offer envelopes correspondingly be marked “Technical Proposal” and “Financial Proposal”

7. The technical proposals shall be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives at 2:45 P.M. on the same date stated above at the Enterprise’s conference room while the financial proposals will remain unopened until the evaluation result of the technical proposals will be known.

8. The Enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

Construction Supervision of Dejene-Mota Road Periodic Maintenance Project - Ethiopian Roads Authority

1. The Office of the Road Fund Administration of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has allocated sufficient budget towards the cost of Consultancy Services for the Construction Supervision of Dejene-Mota Road Periodic Maintenance Project and intends to apply a portion of this budget to eligible payment under this Contracts.

2. The Ethiopian Roads Authority invites all local Consultants registered at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MOFED) under the prevailing Finance Regulation issued by the Council Ministry for the Consultancy Service of the above-mentioned project.

3. The Consultants should renew their registration License for 1997 Ethiopian Calendar.

4. Interested consultants may obtain further information and collect the Request for Proposal Document form Ethiopian Roads Authority, Headquarters, 2nd Floor, Room NO 204, Fax 251-1-51 00 82, Tel. 15 30 15.

5. The RFP can be purchased as of July 14, 2005 upon presentation of Registration Certificate form Ministry of Infrastructure, VAT Registration Certificate and on submission of a written application to the General Manager of ERA and upon payment of non-refundable fee of ETB 150 made payable to Ethiopian Roads Authority.

6. The document for the subject should be prepared in one original and four copies and must be submitted to the General Manager Office, Ethiopian Roads Authority, P.O. Box 1770, Addis Ababa Ethiopia, Fax 251-1-51 48 66, Tel. 15 66 03 on or before August 16, 2005 at 2:30 P.M.

This notice to Invitation to Bid is issued by the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) (hereinafter referred to as Corporation) for the supply of Quadratic Tubular Steel H-Poles, Base Plates, Insulators and Accessories for 132KV Transmission Line of 292km Alaba to Beddele.

The Corporation as executive agent on behalf of the Federal Government of Ethiopia is implementing rehabilitation of High Voltage Substations and Transmission Lines by erecting new Substation Equipment, Power Transformers and Transmission Towers based on study and program.
