1. 2. Bidders who can produce renewed Trade License (Original and Copy), Registration Certificate form Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and VAT Registration Certificate form the concerned government organ may obtain the bid document form the CBE?s Supplies Division office located at Gofa Sefer Branch Building (in front of Addis Ababa Abattoirs Enterprise) 3rd floor Room No. 304 against non-refundable payment of Birr 100 (One Hundred).

3. Bidders shall submit and deposit their sealed bid proposals (technical & financial separately) into the box placed at the same office indicate above before the closing time.

4. Bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of Birr 60,000 (Sixty Thousand Birr) for IT Equipment, Birr 30,000 (Thirty thousand Birr) for Office Equipment, Birr 10,000 (Ten Thousand Birr) for Generators, and Birr 75,000 (Seven Five Thousand Birr) for Medium and Heavy Duty Desk Top Tellers Note counting Machines in the form of Bank guarantee or CPO or Certified cheques only.

5. Bid closing date will be on January 26, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. and will be opened on the same date at 9:15 A.M. for IT Equipment, Office Equipment & Generator; for the Tellers Note Counting Machines bid closing date will be February 16, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. and will be opened on the same date at 9:15 A.M. in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at the office of the CBE?s Suppliers Division indicated under item No. 2 here in above.

Expansion of Mettu Health Professionals Training School - Oromia Regional Health Bureau

1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a grant from the Italian Government towards the cost of Health Sector Development Programme (HSDP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Expansion of Mettu Health Professionals Training School Contract Identification Number NCB/IC/HSDP/METTU/01/05. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA credit.

2. The Oromia Regional Health Bureau inviters sealed bid form eligible bidders to the National contractors of class GC/BC 6 and above and regularly registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban Development and who have renewed their license for the current fiscal year and have VAT registration certificate; for the Expansion of Mettu Health Professionals Training School (ILLUBABOR ZONE).

3. Bidding documents (and additional copies) may be purchased form Oromia Regional Health Bureau, Engineering Team Room No. 29, Addis Ababa for a non-refundable fee of Birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr only) or its equivalent in a freely-convertible currency commencing form 2nd January 2006 to 2nd February 2006. 4. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security of at least 2% of the Project cost or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency in a form of CPO, unconditional insurance bonds, bank guarantee or in cash, and shall be delivered to Oromia Regional Health Bureau on or be fore 2nd February 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in the afternoon at which time the bid will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.

5. Completion time for the construction work will be 150 calendar days.

6. All questionnaires and formats in the bidding documents shall be filled by eligible bidders and failing to do so may be cause for rejection, and therefore bidder are advised to tread the bidding date properly and respond accordingly.

B. The Water Resources Bureau of ANRS invites all interested companied engaged in Renewable Energy Development for design, supply and installation of Solar Pumping System at Harsis and Anderkelo Villages.

C. Bidders should renew their business licenses at least for 1997 Ethiopian Calendar year.

Construction of HIV/AIDS Resource center - CARE International in Ethiopia
