2.      The Oromia Regional Health Bureau invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Health Centers mentioned above, and in the case of domestic contractors, from those in the category of GC/BC 7 and above registered with the Ministry of Infrastructure & who have renewed their license for the current year. Foreign contractors and joint ventures are also invited.

3.      Bidding documents may be purchased at Oromia Health Bureau Engineering team Room No. 63, Tel. 011 515 90 85, P.O. Box 24341, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. For a non-refundable fee of Birr Four Hundred or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency, for each lot. Interested bidders may get further information at the same address.

4.      Bids shall be valid, for a period of 120 days, after bid opening, and must be accompanied by a bid security of at least 2% of the bid amount in CPO or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency from a reputable Bank, and shall be delivered to Oromia Health Bureau Engineering Section, Room No. 63 on November 17, 2006 before 2:00 P.M. local time.

Supply and delivery of Agricultural Research & Training Project - Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research-Agricultural Research and Training Project

1.      The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Agricultural Research and Training Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for the Procurement of Furniture for Holeta National Biotechnology Laboratory.

2.      The Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research-Agricultural Research and Training Project (EIAR-ARTP) now invite sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of the following Furniture. Bidders are required to quote at least 80% of technically responsive items in a lot, and for 100% of the quantities for each item.

Bidders who have not quoted at least 80% technically responsive items in the lot and for 100% of the quantities for each item will be considered as incomplete and rejected as non-responsive.

3.      Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank?s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all potential suppliers in the list from eligible source counties as defined in the Guidelines.

Maintenance (Road) - Office of the Road Fund

1.      Office of the Road Fund of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopian (FDRE) has been allocating sufficient budget towards the cost of maintenance of roads under the jurisdiction of different Road Agencies for the past nine years and intends to apply a portion of the fund to eligible payments under this contract for the consultancy Service of technical auditing for maintenance works carried out by those road agencies in the period 2005/2006 Ethiopian Fiscal year. Office of the Road Fund now invites proposals for the Consultancy Services of technical auditing for maintenance works carried out by the road agencies in the period 2005/2006 EFY.

The details of the description of services are stated in a separate RFP document.

2.      Office of the Road Fund (RF) invites all local road consultants category III and above, who are VAT registered, to submit proposals for the services listed in the request for proposals (RFP). Consultants must possess renewed trade license form Ministry of Trade & Industry, and registration certificate from Ministry of Works and Urban Development for at least 1998 Ethiopian budget year.
