3.       Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond in the sum equal to 1% of the bid amount, which shall remain in force for 90 calendar days from the bid opening date and shall be in separate envelope. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has applied for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Road Sector Development State III Project (APL 3) and intends to apply part of the process for consultant services.
