Invitation for Expression of Interested for Consultancy

The Addis Ababa Housing Development Project Office (AAHDPO) hereby seeks for expression of interested for the following duties.

A. Objective of the work

To study the spatial planning and urban design for the selected three condominium sites with a total area 325 ?hectar land in Addis Ababa through producing Local Development Plan (LDP) and Neighborhood Design.

B. Major tasks:

Topographic surveying for the specific sites
Developing an integrated Local Development Plan
Preparing Neighborhood Design

Basically, the work requires services of registered firms that have demonstrated ability in urban planning with experiences in Local Development Plan and neighborhood design preparation. The work will start immediately after signing of contract with the winner.

Terms of reference and request for proposals are to be provided only to qualified short listed firms.

Eligible firms should deliver relevant information (Brochures, and outline of relevant experience on assignments of a similar nature, resume, etc) that indicate their qualification within ten calendar days of this notice in a sealed envelope to Room No. 621, 3rd floor in the building of the Ethiopian Mapping Agency.

1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a loan from African Development Fund towards the cost of Primary Health Care Service Project and intends to apply part of eth funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract identification IFB No: NCB/ADB/OHB/06/99(Re-bid) for the Procurement of Further for 14 Health Centers, for 75 Health Posts & For 2 Health Science Colleges & 4 Newly constructed Health Centers under three lots in zones and Woredas of Oromia Regional Government.

2. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the ADB?s Rules of Procedures for the Procurement of Goods and Works.

3. The Oromia Regional Government Health Bureau invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply of Furniture for the Health centers, Health Posts and mentioned above. Bidders have the option to bid for anyone or more lots. Bidders should have renewed trade license for 2000 E.C. or 2008, Suppliers list registration certificate from Ministry of Finance & Economic Development (MOFED), Registration for Value Added Tax Certificate when purchasing this tender document & also while Offering their bid.

Ethiopian Iron and Steel Factory is currency seeking the service of certified consultancy for the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) compatible with the requirements of ISO-9001-2000 standards. The main objective of the consultant is given appropriate and continual consultancy service for the factory so as to be certified for ISO 9001 QMS.

In line with the efforts towards our ultimate objective

Gap analysis has been carried out (between the ISO requirements for being certified for the standard 9001-2000 and the existing management system

Training for top and middle management has been conducted

All process has been identified upon which procedure development can be proceeded

Six (6) system level procedures has been development

However, the consultancy is expected to finalize the remaining tasks up to the certification (qualification) by accredited entity for ISO-9001-2000 quality system.
