2.      The Tigray Regional State though the Government of Ethiopia has received credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Water Supply and Sanitation Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of submersible pumps, diesel generators and hammer drill for the Rural Water Supply Program in the Region.

3.       Stocking and delivery requirements: The successful bidders is required to (i) set up stocking delivery points at (Mekelle central warehouse of the bureau), (ii) deliver the items at this point (iii) hand over these items to authorized users who will approach the stockiest with authority slips for specific parts and quantities.

4.      The Tigray Regional Water Resources, Mines & Energy Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified suppliers having a renewed license for the year under bid and VAT registered for supply of 25 set of submersible, 25 set of diesel generator and 25 set of hammer drill.

5.      Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) a procedures specified in the World  Bank?s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all eligible bidders.
