To All contractors of Category GC/BC 4 and above with a license valid for the current fiscal year.

The Amhara National Regional State Yilmana Densa Woreda Education Office now invites sealed financial bid proposals from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labour, materials and equipment for the construction and completion of Adet Secondary School at Adet.

1. Interested bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents, at The Amhara National Regional State Yilmana Densa Woreda Education Office.

2. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder upon the submission of a written application to the above mentioned Office and payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 750 (Seven Hundred Fifty Birr) for each set. Additional sets of document may be Purchased each at the same price at the same address.

3. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an acceptable form, of 2% of the bid amount, and must be delivered to The Amhara National Regional State Yilmana Densa Woreda Education Office on or before February 21, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. Bid validity required is 120 calendar days.

4. The construction work shall be completed within a maximum of 485 calendar days from commencement of the work.

5. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend on the same date and place at 2:30 P.M.

6. All contractors must submit VAT Registration Certificate when they purchase the document.

7. The Amhara National Regional State Yilmana Densa Woreda Education office reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
