Bid Ethiopia

1. The NATIONAL BANK OF ETHIOPIA (NBE) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary material, labor and equipment for the construction and completion of:

RECREATIONAL FACILITIES PROJECT FOR THE
ETHIOPIAN INSTITUTE OF BANKING &
INSURANCE, AKAKI

2. The NATIONAL BANK OF ETHIOPIA has secured adequate budget for the construction and completion of the work. It shall make available and advance payment of 20% of the contract amount to the prospective contractors against a bank guarantee.

3. Interested edible bidders may obtain further information form and/or inspect the bidding documents at the office of:

4. Eligible bidders may purchase a complete set of bid documents upon payment  of Birr 1,000. Additional set of documents may be purchased each at the same price from the office of UNIVERSAL CONSULTANTS.

5. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security (90 days validity), in an acceptable form, of 1% of the bid amount, and must be delivered on or before March 30, 2006 at 12:00 hours, to the office of:

6. Bids will be opened in the presence of those bidders/representatives who choose to attend on eh same date at 14:00 hours in the office of the National Bank of Ethiopia (New building), 2^nd floor, Meeting Room, Addis Ababa.

7. NATIONAL BANK OF ETHIOPIA reserves he right to accept or reject any or all bids.
