  The Southern Nations, Nationalities and peoples Regional Government has assigned a Sufficient Budget for the Construction of RR-50 Standard Rural Road and Bridges.

2.      The South Rural Roads Authority (SRRA) invites all eligible local contractors, Registered & Renewed for the current year by the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and who have Licenses category as stated below and renewed their Licenses for 1995 E.C. to submit qualification information and bid offer to undertake the construction works of the following projects.

Bidders have the option to bid for one or two Projects. Bid will be evaluated and awarded separately.
 

3.      Any further information and complete set of bidding documents can be purchased upon the submission of a written application to: Contract administration division of South Rural Roads Authority, as addressed below. upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 1000,750,500,200,150, according to the order listed above.

4.      Duplicate Copies of Technical qualification documents for the roads project only and financial document for all projects shall be produced in different wax-sealed envelop as stated in the Bidding document and must be accompanied by a bid security in an acceptable form amounting 1% for each bid offer.

5.      The bid shall be submitted to South Rural Road Authority, Awassa on or before 30 days from the first date of the bid announcement of the newspaper up to 10:00 A.M.

6.      Technical qualification document for the roads project only and bid offers for the bridges project will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their Authorized representatives, who choose to attend on the same dates stated above at 2:00 P.M. Bid offers for the roads projects will be opened as per the biding document.

7.      The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
