1. The Haramaya University has funds within the Employer?s budget to be use for the construction staff residence at Haramaya University main campus.
    
2. The Haramaya University invites sealed bids from eligible bidders with valid construction license of Grade GC/BC 4 and above for the construction of staff residence at Haramaya University Main Campus.
    
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
    
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information form Haramaya university Purchasing and Sales Department and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 09:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.M. and from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
    
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address given below at upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 400 Ethiopian Birr. The method of payment will be in cash. The document will be received directly from the address given below. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
    
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 9:30 A.M. on December 04, 2006. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 45,000. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 9:30 A.M. on December 04, 2006.
