1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a loan from the African Development Bank/African Development Fund/towards the cost of the primary health care project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loan to cover eligible payments under the contracts for the CONSTRUCTION OF THIRTEEN HEALTH CENTERS. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible member countries as defined in the ADB?s Rules of Procedure for the Procurement of Goods and Works.
2. The AMHARA NATIONAL REGIONAL STATE BUREAU OF HEALTH now invited sealed bids from prospective bidders of category GC/BC 5 and above for the following lots:

3. Complete set of bidding documents (and additional copies) may be purchased from ANRS Bureau of Health, at planning and programming service, Room No. 116, Tel. 058 220 34 55, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 300 (Three Hundred Birr) in local currency per lot. Interested eligible bidder may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the same address.
4. The instructions to bidders and general conditions of contract contained in the bidding documents comply with the Bank?s Standard bidding documents for the Procurement of Goods/Works.
5. Bids shall be valid for a bid period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by the security deposits/bonds 2% (Two percent) in bank guarantee (CPO) and be delivered to ANRS Bureau of Health on or before 2:00 P.M. of local time on the day after 45 days from the first publication. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend at ANRS Bureau of Health on 2:30 P.M. local time on the day after 45 days from the first publication, at the department of General Service, Room No. 125.
6. Qualified domestic or regional bidders may be eligible to receive a margin of preference in bid evaluation.
7. The ANRS Bureau of Health reserves the right to accept or reject any or all parts of the bid.
