To All contractors of category GC/BC class 8 and above with license valid for the year.

1. The Dire Dawa Provisional Administration Education Office invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labour, materials and equipment for the construction, reparation, and completion of School Expansion at Gorodertu & Adegafelema

2. A complete set of bidding   documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to D.D. Provisional Administration Education Office, Room No. 1 upon payment of Birr 75 (Seventy five Birr Only).  Additional sets of documents may be purchased each at the same price.

3. Bidders may obtain further information from, and inspect the bidding documents at D.D. Provisional Administration Education  Office , Tel. No. 11 19 87

4. Bids shall be  valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and all bids must be accompanied by a bid security, 1% of  the bid amount in an acceptable form of insurance /CPO. The bid security shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity of the bid. The bid must be delivered to D.D. Provisional Administration Education Office on or before 10:00 A.M. the 30th day of December 2004.

5. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend on the 31st day of December 2004 at 9:30 A.M at the office of D.D. Provisional Administration Education Office.

6. The Construction of the works shall be completed within a maximum 120 calendar days from the commencement of the work.

7. The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

N.B:- Bidders are requested to fill all the necessary details in the schedule. Not providing the required information in accordance to the enclosed instruction to bidders may lead to disqualification.
