The Oromia Bureau of Finance and Economic Development invites interested consulting firms with the relevant experience to undertake research on: The Association of Demographic, Cultural and Socio-economic Variables and Vulnerability to food Insecurity in some selected districts of Oromia Region.
Required qualifications, skills and experiences:
? Submit all necessary documents (CV, credentials, etc.) that authenticate and qualification and experience of staff and confirm assignment of required professional on the job.
? Strong background and experience in research work,, on data management, analysis and report writing.
? Bidders should additionally submit renewed license and evidence of payment of current year government tax.
? Therefore, interested consultants or individuals/institutions can obtain the terms of reference (TOR) from Oromia Finance & Economic Development Bureau, Addis Ababa, 3rd Floor, Office Number 307 always at working hours paying non-refundable 30 Birr.
? The technical and financial proposals should be submitted in separate wax-sealed envelopes. (Double envelope system)
? The bid closing date will be on 20th December 2004 at 10:00 A.M. local time. bids received in time & fulfilling the required formalities will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at 10:30 A.M. local time on the same date. A proposal, which is received late, will not be considered.
? Bidders shall deposit or pay 1% bid bond of their offered total price, in the form of C.P.O. or cash.
? The Bureau reserves the right to reject or accept any or all proposals.
