Notice of invitation for supply and installation of Solar Water Pumping System at Harsis and Anderkelo Villages, Afar National Regional State (ANRS).

A. The Water Resources Bureau of the Afar National Regional State (ANRS) with financial assistance of the United Nationals Development Program (UNDP) planned to install Solar Water Pumping system at Harsis & Anderkelo Villages in 1998 E.C.

B. The Water Resources Bureau of ANRS invites all interested companied engaged in Renewable Energy Development for design, supply and installation of Solar Pumping System at Harsis and Anderkelo Villages.

C. Bidders should renew their business licenses at least for 1997 Ethiopian Calendar year.

D. The bid document can be purchased as of January 5, 2006 form Ministry of Water Resources, Room Number 202 upon payment of non-refundable Birr 50 (Fifty Birr).

E. Bids must be delivered to Ministry of Water Resources on or before 4:30 P.M. on January 25, 2006 and must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total amount in CPO.

F. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend at 9:00 A.M. on January 26, 2006.

G. Interested bidders may obtain further information form Water Resource Bureau of the Afar Region, Semera, Tel. 033 666 00 41 or 666 02 85.

H. The Water Resource Bureau of ANRS reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
