1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of The Ethiopian Multi Sectoral HIV/AIDS Project (EMSAP) It is intended that part of the proceeds of this credit will be applied to eligible payments under contract for the Procurement of Computers with accessories, Printers LCD Projectors.
2. The Amhara HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Office now invites sealed bids from the supply of :
? Desktop computers 16 sets
? Laptop computers 3 sets
? Printers 11 sets
? UPS 17 Pcs
? Toners for printers 22 pcs
? LCD Projector 1 set
? Flash Disk 3 pcs
? External CD writers 1
3. Bidders should provide copies of relevant and valid trade license as well as registration certificate. Bidders have the option to bid for any one of the items mentioned above. Bids evaluation and award of contract shall be on item-by- item basis.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below.
5. A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by any interested bidder upon a non-refundable payment of Birr 50.
6. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% of the total bid price in the form of cash, certified check, or a bank guarantee and must be delivered to the address of Amhara HAPCO given below on or before 10:00 A.M. on August 20, 2004.
7. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend at 11:00 A.M. on August 20, 2004 at the Conference Room of Amhara HAPCO, Bahir Dar. Late Bids will be rejected.
