  To:   ALL CONTRACTORS OF CATEGORY GC/BC CLASS  5& above WITH    LICENSE VALID FOR THE YEAR 1995.

1.      The Agricultural Input Supplies Enterprise now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labor, materials and equipment for the construction /reparation and completion of Office, Store and Staff shower Building at Kombolcha and Mekelle.

2.      A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the above address and upon payment of Birr 1,035.00 each. Additional sets documents may be purchased each at the same price.

3.      Bidders may obtain further information from, and inspect the bidding documents at Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) Studio-4 Block No.10.

4.      All bids must be accompanied by a bid security 1% of the bid amount, to a maximum of Birr 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Birr) from recognized financial institutions payable on demand shall in the bidders options be in the form of irrevocable latter of credit, bank guarantee, certified payment order (C.P.O.) or bond from Insurance and must be delivered to CDSCo on or before 12:00 hours, MEGABIT 5/1995.

5.      Bids will be opened in the presence of those bidders/representatives who choose to attend on 14:30 hours, MEGABIT 5/1995 at the office of CDSCo.

6.      The construction of the works shall be completed within a maximum of 400 & 430 respectively calendar days from the commencement of the work.

7.      The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

       Bidders are instructed to fill, sign and seal all the forms of the bid documents. Failure of this instruction is automatic rejection.
