1. The Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Regional Government Health Bureau has received assistance from USAID to procure Industrial Construction material for construction of 61 Health Posts for Health Extension Program for rural communities in SNNPR.

2. The  Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples  Regional Government Health Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of:

1. 1. Industrial Construction Material for 12 Health Posts for Gamo Gofa Zone in SNNPR
   2. Industrial Construction Material for 12  Health Posts fro Hadiya Zone in SNNPR
   3. Industrial Construction Material for 12 Health Posts for Kembata Timboro Zone in SNNPR
   4. Industrial Construction Material   for 13 Health Posts for Sidama Zone in SNNPR
   5. Industrial Construction Material for 12 Health Posts for Wolayita Zone  in SNNPR

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect bidding documents at Engineering & Maintenance service office, P.O. Box 149, Tel. (06) 20 94 13, Awassa, Ethiopia.

4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application, renewed Trade License and VAT registration to the above and upon a payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 50 (Fifty Birr only).

5. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive bidding procedures specified in Government Procurement Guidelines, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.

6. Bid must be delivered to the above office on or before 2:00 P.M. August 31/2004 and must be accompanied by a security of not less than 2% of the Bid Amount in the form of CPO.

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/ representatives who choose to attend at 2:30 P.M. on the same date in the above office.
