The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCO) Central Region would like to invite interested bidders for supply of office furniture for its 14 new districts to be opened under the Region.

1. The Region now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the above mentioned office furniture.

2. Suppliers should have valid licenses VAT registration certificate and certificate of Ministry of Finance.

3. A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by any eligible bidder upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 50 (Fifty) from the address mentioned below.

4. Bid document will be available starting from August 5, 2004.

5. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security Birr 5,000 (Five Thousand) in the form of cash , C.P.O. or certified cheque. Bids shall be marked as Bid No. 001. for supply of new districts office furniture and must be submitted on or before 4:00 P.M. local time on August 13, 2004 to the address mentioned above.

6. Bids will be opened at 10:00 A.M. local time on August 16, 2004 in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives to attend the bid opening to be held at Central Region.

7. The Region reserves the right to reject all or any of bids.
