The Upper Awash Agro Industry Enterprise (UAAIE) invites interested and eligible

local plastic crate manufacturers to bid for the supply of:

? Bidders who have renewed their license for the year 1996 E.C. may obtain the bidding document from UAAIE Coordination office, Kirkos Kifle Ketema, Kebele 03, House No. 031 during office hours against payment of non-refundable Birr 100 (Hundred Birr).

? Bids should be submitted along with a bid bond amounting to 2% of the total price offered in CPO payable to UAAIE.

? Eligible bidders are required to submit along with their documents, renewed legal license for the current year, recommendation from Inland Revenue Authority or from any other Authorized Bureau and VAT registration certificate.

? Bidders should submit their technical and financial proposals in duplicates and separately in wax-sealed envelope before or on 18th September 2004 up to 9:30 A.M.

? Bids will be opened at 10:00 A.M. on 18th September 2004 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives at UAAIE Co-ordination office Addis Ababa.

? Bidders must submit at least Two Samples of Plastic crates fro conformance analysis.

? UAAIE reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
