EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

The Development Bank of Ethiopia invites eligible bidders of Audit Firms of Category A to appoint a competent external audit to audit the books of the accounts of the bank and special funds for the fiscal year 2011/12 and for the next three fiscal years.

Requirements:

1. The audit firm should be registered with the Office of the Federal Auditor General and classified under “Grade A”

2. The audit firm must have solid experience in Financial Institutions for more than 3 years of similar size.

3. The audit firm should provide TIN, VAT, and business registrations that have all been renewed and valid license for the current fiscal year from the Federal Office of the Audit General and other legal documents.

4. The audit firm should provide a company profile and professionals approved CV (Audit Manager, Chartered Accounts and Senior Auditors)

5. The bidders are required to submit the completion time of the audit work.

6. The bid shall be accompanied by a bid security of the total price of 2% (percent).

Each interested and eligible audit firm should submit their sealed Technical and Financial Proposals in two separate envelopes each having one copy and original to be placed at Development Bank Ethiopia Head office First Tower tender box during working hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm), Monday through Friday on or before October 7, 2012. Electronic and Late Bids will not be accepted.

Terms of Reference (ToR) may be collected from our Offices on the address shown below upon payment of non-refundable fee of 200.00 ETB (two hundred birr) to Finance and Accounts Management Process, Tower one ground floor. Bids will be opened on November 7, 2012 at 9:20 A.M in the presence of bidder or their legal representatives who choose to attend. Development Bank Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bids. Bid documents must be delivered to the address below at or before November 7, 2012.
