The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Government has received a credit from the International Development Association for ESDP support project and it intends to apply part of the proceed of this credit to payments under the contracts for procurements of vehicles for Oromia Education Bureau in National Competitive Bid.
2. The Oromia Trade & Transport Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of:
1. 2 Pick up, Double cab 4×4 vehicles & 3 units of 85Q cargo truck 4×2
2. 28 units of 250 cc motorcycles with sidecar
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from Oromia Trade & Transport Bureau, Government Vehicles Purchase and Control Dep., Room No. 7.2, * 3501, ( 51 41 99 Ext. 228, Fax. 52 14 99, Woreda 21, Kebele 04, A.A., Ethiopia.
4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchase by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00(Two Hundred).
5. The previsions in the instruction to bidders and in the general conditions of contract are the World Bank standard bidding documents, procurement of goods that is revised in January 1996.
6. Bidding documents (original and copies) must be enclosed in a different wax-sealed envelopes and must be delivered to the above Bureau on or before 4:00 P.M. on March 3, 2003 and must be accompanied by a security of 2% of total price, and must be submitted to the above address on the form of certified check (C.P.O.).
7. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend at O.T.T.B Room No. 1 at 9:30 A.M. on March 4, 2003.
8. The Bureau/VPC has the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
