1. On behalf of beneficiary communities of Zalanbesa Town, Gulo Mekeda’s Administration Office has received a grant from Emergency Recovery Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Reconstruction main Drainage Works in Zalanbasa Town.

2. The Emergency Recovery Program Management Unit, in Tigray Region now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the reconstruction of Main Drainage Works in Zalanbesa Town.

3. A complete set of bidding documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at Emergency Recovery Program Management Unit, Office No. 203 Tel. NO. 04-40 81 65, 09-30 01 40 or 09-70 16 24, Mekelle or Emergency Recovery Program Management Unit (MOFED) Tel No. 01-22 66 60 Or 09-22 83 73/4 Addis Ababa for a non-refundable fee of Birr 200 (Birr Two Hundred). Interested bidders may also obtain further information at the same address.

4. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% the bid amount in an acceptable form (Insurance, CPO or Bank Guarantee) and shall be delivered to Emergency Recovery Program Management Unit, Office No: 203, Tel. No. 04-40 81 65, 09-30 01 40 or 09-70 16 24 Mekelle on or before 24 August 2005 at 10:00 A.M.

5. Bids will be opened on the same date in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend at Emergency Recovery Program Management Unit, Mekelle, Office No. 203 at 10:30 A.M. local time.

6. Bidders are requested to fill all the necessary details in the schedules.

7. The Office reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
