Bid Ethiopia

United Nations Populations Fund, UNFPA Ethiopia, would like to sale the following vehicles on completive bidding and on AS-IS basis. Interested bidders are therefore invited to submit their bids according to the following bid instructions.

1.      Prospective bidders can inspect the vehicles Monday-Friday from 2:00 P.M. up to 4:30 P.M. at the ECA compound (contract person Mr. Mekonnen Lencho, Tel. 0911 212 669).

2.      Bid documents can be collected from Old ECA building, 5^th floor, Room No. 513 after payment of non-refundable Birr 100 ETB.

3.      Bidders should submit their offer in a sealed envelope on or before Friday July 14, 2006, 5:00 P.M. to UNFPA Country Office, Addis Ababa (full address indicted below).

4.      Bids will be opened on Monday July 17, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. UNFPA Country Office Conference Room, Addis Ababa, in the presence of bidders or their official representatives.

5.      Bid documents need to be submitted with bid bond of 1000ETB in cash which will later be returned for unsuccessf7ul bidders.

6.      Bid winners are required to pays he full amount of the wining price and collect the vehicle within 10 working days after they are notified.

7.      Bid winners are responsible to settle any government duties may be applicable.

8.      UNFPA reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
