IFB Title: Supply and Installation of PABX Machine

IFB No: MCS-CRP/G-03/11

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the International Development Association and Development Partners towards the cost of Additional Financing on Public Sector Capacity Building Program (PSCAP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Supply and Installation of PABX Machine.

1. The Federal Supreme Court now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply and installation of:

1 PABX Machine (a PABX of supporting up 400 extension users and 30 tele lines/trunks) with full packages of;

1.1. Analogue Handset

1.2. Digital Handset

Bidders must bid for all the Items and in thee quantities specified for the lot Partial bids will be rejected as non-responsive.

2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Federal Supreme Court Public Sector Capacity Building Program (PSCAP) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM from Monday to Friday.

4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM from Monday to Friday on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Birr 200.00 (birr two hundred) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be Cash. The Bidding Documents will be sent by first class mail for oversea bidders who send a crossed Bank Draft of Birr 1000 (Birr one thousand) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency in addition to the price of the bid Documents to the address specified below. However, the Federal Supreme Court will not

5. Federal Supreme Court reserves the right to reject any or all bids if necessary. The offer must be valid for 60 days from the bid submission date.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below as of the first announcement of the Bid on The Ethiopian Herald up to 30 consecutive days on or before November 14, 2012 at 3:00PM. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below. The Bid will be opened on November 14, 2012 the same day of the closing day of the Bid at 3:30PM at the following address.

Each Lot must be accompanied by Bid Security for amount stipulated as indicated in the above table.
