IFB No. OT/013/2006

1.   1.   Finchaa Sugar Factory has allocated a budget towards the cost of procurement of goods. It is intended that part of
     the proceeds of this budget will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for
      which this invitation for bids is issued.

2.   The Finchaa Sugar Factory now invites sealed bids from prospective bidders for the supply (CFR Djibouti,) of the following Goods:

         Lot I- Agricultural Chemicals

                     -Atrazine 25% + Ametryne 25%        -19,000Lt.

                 -Propiconazole                                        – 1,400Lt.

                 -2, 4-D 720 gm/1 A.E.                            -6,906Lt.

         Lot II Steam Valves, Steam Traps and Steam Ejectors for the sugar factory

3.   Interested bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of:

4.   A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 100.00 for each Lot.

5.   Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before December 15, 2006, at 10:00 A.M. fro Lot I and at 2:00 P.M. local time for Lot II and must be accompanied by a bid security amount indicated in the tender document in Birr or equivalent in foreign currency.

6.   Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend on the same day at 10:30 A.M. for Lot I and 2:30 P.M. local time for Lot II at the same address in Room No. 205.

7.   Finchaa Sugar Factory reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
