1. The Ministry of Water Resources intends to purchase office equipment & Furniture financed by the fund received from IDA towards the cost of Water Supply and Sanitation Project Coordination Unit.

2. The Ministry of Water Resources now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply & delivery of Office equipment & Furniture suppliers per the following summary.

3. A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 50 (Fifty Birr only) from Ministry of Water Resources, Procurement office, and Room Number 202.

4. Bidders are required to submit with their bid copy of renewed license, clearance from Inland Revenue Administration and a copy of registration certificate from Ministry of Finance & Economic Development.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information & request for purchase of bidding document form Ministry of Water Resources, Equipment & Supplies Department, P.O. Box 5673, Tel. 61 11 11 Ext. 236, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before February 22, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 3,000 (Birr Three Thousand) in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee. Insurance Bond is not acceptable.

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below on February 22, 2006 at 2:30 P.M.

8. Bidders can participate Lot by Lot or Item by Item.

9. Late bids will be rejected and the purchaser reserves the right to reject the bid in full or partially.
