RE-INVITATION

The Upper Awash Agro-Industry Enterprise (UAAIE) now invites sealed bids from all eligible bidders for the supply of:

1. Agricultural Machinery

1.1. Tractor mounted Sprayer:     5

1.2 Adjustable Ridger:                 1

2. Plant and Machinery

2.1 Centrifugal pump without electric Motor Driving Unit 16?:      1

2.2 Centrifugal pump with out electric Motor (Driving Unit)10?    1

2.3 Vertical Line Shaft Trubine Pump without Electric

Motor (Driving Unit):                                                                      1

2.4 Cooling Unit:                                                                                    1

Interested eligible bidders who have registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) and renewed their license for the year 1997/98 E.C. may obtain the bidding documents from UAAIE?s Co-ordination Office, Kirkos Kifle Ketema, Kebele 03, House No. 031, during offices hours upon payment of non-refundable Birr 100 (Birr One Hundred) for all the items.

Bidders shall furnish as part of their bid, bid security in an amount equivalent to 2% of the aggregate price. The bond must be payable to Upper Awash Agro-Industry Enterprise in CPO or Bank Guarantee.

The tender remains floating up to April 29, 2006.

Bidders should submit their offers in a wax-sealed envelope to UAAIE Co-ordination Office, Kirkos Kifle Ketema, Kebele 03, House No. 031, before or on 29^th April 2006 up to 9:30 A.M. local time.

Bids received in time and fulfilling the required formalities will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at 10:00 A.M. Local Time on 29^th April 2006 at UAAIE?s Co-ordination Office in Addis Ababa.

UAAIE reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
