Hormat Engineering Factory invites all interested and eligible bidders for the supply of:

I. Chemicals

II. Raw materials, Machine spare parts and Various Equipment

1. Bidders can obtain a complete set of bidding documents from procurement Division of the Factory upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr) during working hours.

2. Any sealed bids musts be accompanied by a bid bond of 2% (Two percent) the bid amount in the form of CPO from domestic bank or unconditional bank guarantee to any Commercial Bank in Ethiopia. The bid bond should be in the form and substance acceptable to the buyer and should be unconditional irrevocable and payable by any Commercial Bank in Ethiopia upon the Buyer?s first written demand for payment and must be delivered to the Procurement Division of the Buyer in Addis Engineering Center Compound, on the read from Mexico Square to Mekanissa Tel. 00251-11 552 99 97/00251-11 551 59 94, Fax 00251-11 551 20 24/ 00251-11 551 29 91 Addis, Ababa, Ethiopia. Bid will be closed at 10:00 A.M. Local time on March 24, 2006.

3. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidder or their representatives at 10:00 A.M. local time on March 24, 2006 at the office of the Procurement Division of the Factory.

4. Hormat Engineering Factory reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
