Bid Ethiopia

1.  The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Ministry of Health intended to purchase Laboratory Test Kits and Supplies for Blood Transfusion Services using funds received form WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO)

2.   The Federal Ministry of Health, Pharmaceuticals Administration and Supply Services (PASS) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Laboratory Test Kits and Supplies for Blood Transfusion Services.

3.      Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive bidding procedures specified in the Government Procurement Guidelines.  Local agents and local Manufactures shall provide renewed trade license, letter from Inland Revenue Administration, Registration Certificate from NoFED, Product Registration Certificate from Drug Administration & Control Authority (DACA) for Test Kits (item No. 1-6) and Manufacturers registration from DACA for item No. 5-13.

4.   Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from PASS and inspect the bidding documents at the PASS tender office from the date this advertisement appearance in The Ethiopian Herald during Office Hours.

5.   A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested  bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Eth. Birr 30.

6.   Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 29^th June 2004 at 2:00 P.M. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 5,000 in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee form International Recognized Bank and Counter guaranteed by Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.  Insurance Bond is not acceptable.

7.   Late bids will be rejected and the purchaser reserves the right to reject the bid in full or partially.

8.   Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 29^th June 2004 at 2:30 P.M.
