Bid Ethiopia

1. The Gambella Health Bureau intended to purchase medical equipment for 16 Health posts using funds received form USAID.

2. The Gambella Health Bureau now invites sealed bids form eligible bidders for the supply of medical equipment.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at Ministry of Federal Affaires, Room No. 205, Tel. 51 00 95, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 50 (Fifty Birr) only.

5. Bidders are required to submit with their bid copy of renewed license, clearance from Inland Revenue Administration, copy VAT registration license and copy of registration certificate from Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.

6. Bids must be delivered to the above office Room No. 205 on or before 2:00 P.M. on 20 August 2005 and must be accompanied by a security of Birr 7,000 (Seven Thousand Birr only) in the form of C.P.O. or Bank guarantee. Insurance bond is not accepted.

7. Bids must be opened in the presence of bidders their representatives who choose to attend at 2:30 P.M. 21 August 2005 at the Ministry of Federal Affaires, Room No. 205, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

8. The Bureau reserves the right to reject the bid fully or partially.
