Afar Salt Production share Company invites interested and eligible bidders to bid for the supply of Potassium Iodate (k103).

1. Local bidders or agents must produce their evidence of currently renewed license that they have paid up all government taxes, certificate from Ministry of Finance specifying that they have registered in suppliers list, VAT registration certificate, experience in similar work.

2. Bidders can obtain bid documents during office hours against payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 50 (Fifty Birr) starting from the first day of this day of this announcement.

3. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total bid amount in the form of certified cheque (CPO) or bank guarantee confirmed through recognized domestic bank.

4. Bidders should submit their technical & financial proposal in two separate wax-sealed envelopes each having one original & one copy in the tender box prepared for this purpose on or before February 28, 2005 at 5:00 P.M.

5. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders and /or their official representatives who wish to attend, on March 1, 2005 at 10:00 A.M.

6. The Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
