Request for expression of interest: Vehicle

Maintenance Service Providers

The British Embassy and Department for International Development (DFID Ethiopia) wish to contract a reputable Service Provider (SP) based in Addis Ababa.

We intend to appoint a SP that provides vehicle maintenance work for it’s 26 office vehicles. The contract period is expected to be 3 years subject to annually revision (with an option to extend depending on performance against the Service Level Agreement).

The SP will be expected to provide general maintenance (on a set schedule for each car-every 5000 km) and vehicle repairs as per work orders received from DFID.

The SP fulfilling the following requirements may apply:

• Valid licence from Ministry of Trade and VAT registered

• Demonstrate the appropriate level of financial capacity

• Minimum of 5 years working in the vehicle repair and maintenance works

• Experience in providing service to international organisations

• CV(s) of Key Personnel

The British Embassy and DFID Ethiopia will follow two stage contracting process for this particular exercise. Expressions of Interests will be evaluated based on the above criteria and full Invitation to Tender documents will be sent to short- listed applicants inviting them to submit detailed technical and financial proposals. The British Embassy and DFID Ethiopia will contact short-listed SP’s only and also reserves the right not to award any contract.
