Water supply projects – Amhara National Regional State Water Resources Development Bureau

The Amhara National Regional State Water Resources Development Bureau (WRDB) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the water supply projects listed here under.

         Lot 1: Mertolemariam college water supply project: Turnkey for Civil 
                  & Electro mechanical     
                  works and supply of Pump,

                  Generator, Pipes & Fittings.

        Lot 2: Wereilu & Kemisse towns water well drilling works

        Lot 3: Supply of six submersible pumps

Interested eligible bidders could purchase the bidding documents upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 (Two Hundred) for each lot.

Bidders should present currently renewed trade license, inland revenue for the year 1998 E.C. VAT Registration Certificate and License from Ministry of Water Resources for water works construction.

For lot 1: civil construction works, a bidders shall be grade GC5 or above.

A bidder could participate for one or for more lots.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of not less than 1% of the total bid price, in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee.

Bids shall be sealed and delivered to Water Resources Development Bureau at Bahir Dar.

Bid closing date shall be at 2:00 P.M. on the 21st working day after counting 20 calendar days form the date of the first bid advertisement appearance on The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend at the Conference Room of WRDB at 3:00 P.M. on the same date of bid closing specified above.
